Experiences with shear connector stud welding of steel components - Current publication in the technical press

(27/02/2025) The article "Experiences with shear connector stud welding of steel components" published in the current issue of the DVS magazine DER PRAKTIKER highlights the special requirements when welding shear connectors to steel components (anchor plates).

Our inverter stud welding machines and guns from the PRO-I and GD series with current and movement monitoring are particularly suitable for this welding task. They not only offer excellent welding quality, but can also save and evaluate the values achieved.

It is also possible to lock the devices after results outside the process window and to inspect the weld. Together with the mandatory visual inspection, the systems thus guarantee demonstrable safety and set new standards for requirements for high-quality stud welding.
