Experiences with shear stud welding of steel components - Recent publication in the international trade press

(28/10/2025) The current issue of the English-language trade magazine WELDING AND CUTTING features a detailed article on welding shear studs to components, focusing on the challenges posed by shear studs and components made of stainless steel.

Our inverter stud welding machines PRO-I and GD guns with current and motion monitoring are particularly well-suited for this welding task. They not only offer excellent welding properties but can also save and evaluate the achieved values.

Furthermore, it is possible to lock the machines after results fall outside the process window and to inspect the weld. Combined with the mandatory visual inspection, these systems ensure verifiable safety and set new standards for the requirements of high-quality stud welding.
