New production facility for shear connectors, welding studs and cold formed parts in Gevelsberg

(06/01/2014) In our newly constructed production facility at our site in Gevelsberg, we are manufacturing shear connectors, welding studs and miscellaneous cold formed parts within our newly established subsidiary SB Production GmbH.

We manufacture parts up to 25 mm in diameter and 325 mm in length on modern multi-stage and double-pressure presses. We have taken our presses, which up to now were distributed among various sites, and concentrated them in the new factory within a production area of 1700 m². As a legally independent manufacturing division of AS Schöler + Bolte GmbH, SB Produktion manufactures exclusively for AS Schöler + Bolte GmbH.

SB Produktion GmbH is a joint subsidiary with our long-term partner Gebrüder Kunze GmbH. The cooperation with Gebrüder Kunze GmbH – one of Europe's leading companies in the field of cold forming with 330 employees, a manufacturing area of 7500 m², toolmaking over 1000 m² and certification to ISO/TS 16949 – guarantees cost-optimised production based on state-of-the-art manufacturing and logistical expertise that meets the highest quality standards and leverages synergies in raw material purchasing, toolmaking and quality assurance.

In particular, SB Produktion currently has the modern production line in Europe for manufacturing shear connectors according to DIN EN ISO 13918.
